Possibly influencing the Pennsylvania lawmakers regarding another Philadelphia license was the report that the gross slots revenue for the month of March reached $233.1 million, a record for the state’s 11 casinos.

• Penn National Gaming Inc. says it plans to open a casino in Toledo, Ohio, in early May, rather than later in the month.

State officials in Ohio are joining with gaming companies in their opposition to a lawsuit that would bar the state from approving slot machines for the state’s horse tracks. The state’s gaming regulators announced last week they had begun licensing some 1,100 workers who have been hired by casinos opening in Cleveland and Toledo.

Caesars Entertainment Corp. (CZR) says it has sold a half interest in its Caesars Interactive company to Rock Gaming of Ohio for $60.8 million.

Las Vegas-based Full House Resorts Inc. (FLL) plans to pay $70 million to acquire the Silver Slipper Casino in Hancock County, Mississippi, from the Alanis Family and their partners.

Bryan Delugo has been named general manager of the Red Hawk Casino in upstate California. The property is owned by the Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians.

As owners of the land bordering the site of the proposed Oyster Bay Casino, the city of D’Iberville says it plans to share in the casino’s profits. The parcel of land is needed to make the property a legal casino site because it touches the water at the mean high tide line.

The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement says Atlantic City’s 11 casinos saw a decline of 7.4 percent in gross operating profits during 2011.

Riviera Holdings Inc. of Las Vegas said it lost $15.9 million during the fourth quarter of 2011. Revenues during the period rose to $81.7 million from last year’s $79.3 million.
