Cantor Gaming Gains Licensing Approval for Palms Casino Sports January 27, 2012 11:27 AM by Staff & Wire Reports

Cantor Gaming®, a leading innovator in entertainment and wagering technology and pre-eminent race and sports book operator in Nevada, announced today that it has received final licensing approval by the Nevada Gaming Commission and Gaming Control Board to operate the race and sports book at Palms Casino Resort. With these approvals in place, Cantor Gaming will begin operating the race and sports book at Palms on February 7, 2012.

Cantor Gaming has committed to building a new race and sports book at Palms that offers sports betting fans the latest in technological advancements and convenience, including mobile sports wagering and a proprietary wireless gaming system. Construction will commence in April and is expected to be completed in time for the 2012 NFL season. During the interim period Cantor Gaming will operate an ancillary sports-only book near the Mint High Limit Lounge located on Palms’ main floor.

"We are delighted to have received regulatory approval quickly, enabling us to operate at Palms in time for March Madness, which is an exciting period for sports betting patrons," said Lee M. Amaitis, President and Chief Executive Officer of Cantor Gaming.
