Boyd Gaming has added its name to the list of companies hoping for federal action to regulate Internet poker but will accept a “state-by-state approach” to getting the games going.
“We continue to believe Congress should enact a national structure,” Boyd CEO Keith Smith said, “and when it does the growth opportunities available to us will be substantial. We have positioned the company to take full advantage of online gaming through our joint venture with Bwin.party digital entertainment (PartyPoker.)
