My 6-way-9’s keno ticket ‘Sister Act’ March 13, 2012 3:00 AM by Keno Lil

This week we investigate the 6-way 9-spot ticket.

Below you will find four different tickets, a 12-spot, a 13-spot, a 14-spot and a 15-spot, all of which have a 6-way 9-spot way as part of their combinations.

In a sense, we can call these tickets "sisters" because they can be created step by step from the first ticket simply by adding a spot to the first group. Though there are lots of other ways to make a 6-way-9, these four tickets are curiously related, so that is what makes them interesting.

The first ticket, the 12-spot, has a nice symmetry about it, and that usually means a good ticket to play, though you should remember fewer numbers will make a way ticket behave more like a king ticket (fewer winners but bigger win potential) while more numbers played usually means more frequent (but smaller) wins.

The second and third tickets have groups of four and five on them, respectively. In general when playing way nines, tickets with groups of four and five are best to play in terms of win frequency.

The last ticket is reminiscent of the old 4-way-9 marked with a field of six, which turned out to be the very best 4-way-9 to play. This 6-way-9 with a field of six should be quite playable.

Any one of these tickets will do if you want to try a 6-way-9; they should all be almost equal in performance. The basic decisions you will make in choosing one to play will be how many spots you want to play and what other ways you might want to play on the ticket as the others vary.
