Despite difficulty expressed by other gaming machine manufacturers, Bally Technologies Inc. (BYI) reported major increases in both revenues and income, including record numbers in gaming operations.

Revenues for the second fiscal quarter rose to $210 million, a 15 percent increase over last year’s $183 million. Net income was $24.2 million or $0.54 per share compared to $27.3 million or $0.49 per share. The difference in share profit resulted from the company’s share buyback program.
