Caesars Ent. offers stock shares for public sale under CZR February 06, 2012 8:42 PM by Ray Poirier

Caesars Entertainment Corp. had hoped to test the public’s interest in its activities by offering some of the company’s shares for public sale but the effort was returned to the back burner because of market conditions.

Now, the project is going forward, says the company.

According to initial information, the company plans to list more than 1.8 million share of common stock on the NASDAQ Global Select Market under the trading banner of "CZR." Also, the company indicated some of its principals will join in the offering, bringing the total listing to about 28 percent of the company.

Pricing is expected to be between $8 and $10 per share.
