DEL MAR

Race 2 -- #8 Hemera - Was last and far back in another galaxy in this mile turn race but just came home like a freight train to finish second behind our HTW winner Malibu Pier who looks to be a real up and comer for trainer Carla Gains. Hemera would have won on any other day.

Race 6 -- #2 Serene Sophia - The word was out on this Baffert first time starter as she was bet down to 8/5 but you just had to see the race she ran, she got cut off at the start and had to drop back to last, she then circled the field and came storming home to win going away in what was a very scary effort. $$$$$
